Liveurope Festival at VEGA 2026
The Liveurope Festival is heading north! On 3 and 4 December, our Danish venue VEGA will host the Nordic edition of our annual 2 day celebration of music discovery in Copenhagen.
As part of the Above 55° initiative, with the support of the Nordic Culture Fund, the festival will be an opportunity to discover new alternative Nordic talent and strengthen connections between the Nordic music scene and the wider European live music sector.
Beyond the showcase, we are excited to explore new technologies in live music with the Liveurope members and get insights from innovations at VEGA.

Practicalities
By train
Copenhagen is well connected by rail to major Scandinavian and European cities. There are direct train connections from Stockholm, Gothenburg, Hamburg, and Malmö, with easy onward connections from the rest of Europe. You can find schedules and tickets on the Danish railway operator's website.
By night train
You can also consider taking a night train from cities such as Stockholm, Berlin, or Hamburg. Night trains can be a comfortable and sustainable alternative to flying.
By plane
The closest airports to Copenhagen are:
- Copenhagen Airport (CPH) – approximately 8 km away
- Malmö Airport (MMX) – approximately 45 km away
From the Airport to the city
Copenhagen Airport is directly connected to the city centre by both metro and regional train. The journey to Copenhagen Central Station takes approximately 15 minutes, and trains and metros run frequently throughout the day and evening.
Copenhagen has an extensive and efficient public transport network including metro, buses, and trains. The city is also famous for its cycling infrastructure, making bicycles one of the easiest ways to get around. Bike rental and bike-sharing services are widely available throughout the city.
