3 questions with commuter (GR) and Swim Swim Naked (HU) at Posthof
Swim Swim Naked and commuter, two up-and-coming bands from Hungary and Greece brought their sounds to Posthof, our Austrian venue in Linz. Ahead of their show, they sat down with the Posthof team for a short interview:
What are your hopes for the European music scene?
commuter: To reach a level where the majority of European artists can support themselves through their art without having to rely on sidejobs that they dislike.
Swim Swim Naked: In Europe, there are a lot of talented musicians. We hope the scene will become more open to independent DIY artists and new sounds.
How would you define your sound?
commuter: Even there are many influences genre-wise, we think the best definition is raw, aggressive, and honest.
Swim Swim Naked: We merge pop and electronic music. We use electronic instruments like drum machines and synthesizers with live vocals.
Anything else you'd like to tell us?
commuter: Come to our shows on this European tour, it will at least be fun conversing with us.
Swim Swim Naked: We would like to support freedom, creativity, and an open-minded way of thinking with our music.
