We sat down backstage with Italian singer songwriter Alessia Tondo before her show for EUphoria at Ancienne Belgique to talk about the place of music in shaping the future of Europe. 

In her opinion, Liveurope is a tool for European artists to share not only their music but also their history, voice and culture. Understanding of music and cultural diversity is key to build bridges across Europe. 

Alessia Tondo reflected on the power of music to open borders, promote peace and help us learn to live together. The folk singer from the Puglia region in Italy eventually shared her dream of touring in other Liveurope venues. So keep your ears open, she might be performing in your country soon!
